WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR APPOINTMENT
Vitamin B12 shots are quick and easy. At your appointment, your provider will do a brief overview of your medical history to ensure that you are a good candidate for treatment. Your injection site will be cleaned with alcohol and your shot will be administered. Little to no discomfort is expected.

There is zero down time for this quick, in-office procedure.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR TREATMENT
Majority of our IM Vitamin injections are delivered through the deltoid muscle of the arm. If possible, please wear a t-shirt or article of clothing that allows for easy access to the upper arm.
WHEN WILL YOU SEE RESULTS?
Most patients begin to feel the results of their vitamin injections the same day (some in as few as an hour!) For others who severely deficient, it may take several months of repeated injections to reach optimal B12 levels.

Are appointments required for IM vitamin injections?
Generally, yes. Unless added onto an existing appointment, vitamin injections are typically stand alone appointments. If you are needing to get in same day, we do offer drop-ins but please call our office to ensure provider availability.
Can I add a B12 shot to an existing appointment?
Absolutely, yes!
Does the injection hurt?
Not at all. We use a much smaller needle than what you get in your yearly flu shot.
